120W Solar Street Light 30Ah 240 LED ABS

Top of the 0845 series, this 120W all-in-one solar street light is for sites that need real coverage and a battery that does not run flat after one dull day. Schools, factories, estates and county compounds are the usual buyers, and it comes in colour temperatures from 3000K to 6000K.

Two hundred and forty 5730 LEDs give a stated 160 lm/W. Behind them, a 6V 18W polycrystalline panel charges a LiFePO4 32650 3.2V 30Ah battery, the largest in this series, and the manufacturer quotes 6 to 8 hours of charging for 30 to 36 hours of discharge. Read those three figures together: the 30Ah bank is why the discharge window is roughly double that of the standard ABS models. The housing is ABS and measures 750 x 250 x 65mm.

Poles of 6 to 9 metres are what the optics assume, which covers internal roads, wide compounds, playgrounds and perimeter fencing. As always with solar, siting and season decide what you actually get, so mount the panel where nothing shades it through the middle of the day. The manufacturer states a 3 year warranty.
