120W Solar Street Light Aluminium 18Ah 216 LED

This 120W aluminium solar street light is the middle option in the Bridgelux-equipped 0856 series and covers estate roads, factory yards, school compounds and commercial parking where a metal fitting is preferred over plastic.

Two hundred and sixteen Bridgelux 5730 LEDs at 6000K to 6500K are rated at 160 lm/W. Charging comes from a 10V 22W polycrystalline panel into a LiFePO4 6.4V 18Ah battery, with the manufacturer quoting 6 to 8 hours to charge and 20 to 24 hours of discharge. Those numbers are the ones to compare across the series, since the panel and the battery scale together with lamp size rather than one outrunning the other. The aluminium housing measures 701 x 220 x 118mm, giving the LEDs a metal heat path.

The intended installation height is 6 to 8 metres, which puts light across a wider yard or a two-lane internal road. It works well spaced along a fence line for perimeter security. Bear in mind that siting and season govern how much charge the panel collects, so allow for the shorter, cloudier days when planning spacing. The manufacturer states a 3 year warranty.
