2000VA 1600W Hybrid Solar Inverter 12V MPPT Pure Sine

This is the entry point of the STN hybrid inverter family, model STN16212, built for a 12VDC battery bank and rated 2000VA / 1600W. It is aimed at shops, small offices and homes riding out an unreliable mains supply, and at installers putting together a compact off-grid kit.

Output is pure sine wave at 230VAC, which matters for motors and electronics that dislike modified waveforms. Surge capacity is rated at 4000VA, giving headroom for the brief inrush a pump or compressor draws at start-up. Peak efficiency from PV to inverter is quoted at 98%, and MPPT solar charging is built in, so panels feed the batteries without a separate controller. The selectable input window is 170-280VAC for computer loads or 90-280VAC for household appliances, useful where grid voltage sags. Frequency sensing is automatic on 50Hz and 60Hz, and RS232 with GPRS and WiFi options allows remote monitoring. The wall-mounted case measures 273 x 357 x 95mm.
