2W Solar LED Lamp String 100 LEDs 11.5m IP65

Model 0931A02-01 is a 2W solar lamp string, 11.5 metres of cable carrying 100 small LEDs, with a stake-mounted panel at one end. It is decorative rather than functional lighting, and it sells to homes, bars, restaurants, lodges and events teams.

The string uses 2835 LEDs at 6000K with a rated 160 lm/W, and stores its charge in a NiMH 1.2V 600mAh battery. The manufacturer rates the charging time at 6 to 8 hours and the discharging time at 10 to 12 hours, which is enough to carry an evening and see out the night in most cases; a shaded panel will fall short of that. The lamp bodies are ABS and PS and the string is rated IP65 for outdoor use, so rain is not a problem, though it should not be submerged.

It goes up quickly along fences, verandas, pergolas, tree lines, canopy edges and shopfronts. Because the panel is separate from the lights, the string can hang under cover while the panel sits out in the open where the sun reaches it.
