About this product
The Dayliff D3SP1-14 is a compact three inch submersible multistage centrifugal pump built for small scale water supply from boreholes and wells. It is the lighter of the two D3SP1 models, which makes it the sensible pick for a modest household draw or a garden and stock supply where a narrow borehole rules out a larger diameter pump.
Impellers and diffusers are engineering plastic, the inlet and outlet chambers brass, and the pump sleeve stainless steel. Behind the wet end sits a sealed two pole motor with copper windings, built principally from stainless steel. A separate control unit is included, carrying an isolator, run indicator light, thermal overload protection and a start capacitor, and it connects directly to mains power. Dayliff recommends adding an AVS or similar power protection controller where the mains supply fluctuates.
Duties include domestic borehole and well supply, shallow abstraction on smallholdings, and filling storage tanks for gravity distribution.
