Dayliff DC 50E Econo Self Priming Engine Pump

Dayliff's DC range covers self priming engine pumps of fully portable design, built for irrigation, dewatering and general water transfer where there is no mains power at the water's edge. The DC 50E sits within that range and carries the E suffix Dayliff uses for its Econo specification, which is assembled from different components and is recommended for lighter duties and shorter operating periods rather than continuous daily pumping.

Across the range the pump body and impellers are cast from high grade aluminium, and the impeller is of open type so that lightly silted water passes through without choking the pump. A sturdy frame carries the unit and shields the engine, and quick couple hose connectors and a suction strainer are supplied with the pump. Power comes from an air cooled single cylinder overhead valve engine with transistorised ignition and an oil alert.

Typical work is furrow and sprinkler irrigation on smallholdings, emptying flooded excavations, filling site and farm tanks, and moving water between storage points.
