Dayliff DCX1 50P High Pressure Petrol Engine Pump

Head, not just flow, is what the Dayliff DCX range is designed around. These portable pumps use a self priming closed impeller centrifugal layout aimed at high head water transfer, fire fighting and irrigation, and the DCX1 50P is the petrol engined, single impeller build within it.

Pumps in the range are fitted with either one or two impellers, giving medium or high pressure performance, and the body and impellers are cast from high grade aluminium. Quick couple suction and inlet connectors and a strainer are supplied, and the pump sits in a sturdy carrying and protection frame. The petrol option is an air cooled single cylinder overhead valve engine with transistorised ignition, built in oil alert and recoil start. Dayliff notes that published performance curves assume the governor set for maximum rated power; for extended duty the throttle should be reduced to about three quarters, with output reduced to match.

Applications include pumping uphill to elevated tanks, estate fire fighting reserves, sprinkler irrigation that needs pressure at the nozzle, and long delivery runs.
