Dayliff DDA 900C Submersible Borehole Pump 0.9kW

Of the DDA submersible pumps, the DDA 900C is the one Dayliff points at borehole work. It is a multistage centrifugal pump for clean, non aggressive water, with the jacketed motor arrangement the range is known for, giving good cooling and allowing the pump to run semi submerged.

Impellers and diffusers are polypropylene, the casing stainless steel, and mechanical seals sit in an intermediate oil chamber. Rather than the float switch fitted to the well and tank models, this pump is supplied with an external control box carrying an isolator, run indicator light, thermal overload protection and a starting capacitor, wired directly to mains power. The box also has auxiliary terminals for control probes, a pressure switch or a float switch, so the pump can be automated to suit the installation. Cable is supplied with the pump.

It suits domestic and institutional borehole supply, deeper wells, tank filling and pressure boosting where a dry mounted pump would struggle on suction.
