Dayliff DDC 158E Econo Centrifugal Water Pump 0.75kW

The Dayliff DDC 158E is a centrifugal non self priming closed impeller pump for small scale domestic and commercial water supply, and it is at its best on boosting and transfer work where the pump sits below or level with the water it is moving.

Body construction is cast iron. The Econo build differs from the standard DDC 158 in being of lighter construction and in using a stainless steel impeller rather than brass. The pump is close coupled to a TEFC electric motor rated for continuous operation and fitted with a thermal cutout against electrical overload, and it can be connected straight to the mains through a fuse or MCB. Being non self priming, it needs a flooded suction or a primed line to start reliably.

It is used for boosting pressure to upper floors, transferring water from ground tanks to roof tanks, and general supply duty in houses, shops and small commercial premises.
