About this product
Self priming is the point of the Dayliff DDG 1000. The pump is a single stage centrifugal unit that will clear air from its suction line and pull water up to it, which makes it the practical choice for drawing from a sump, a shallow well or a ground level tank that sits below the pump.
Body, shaft and back plate are stainless steel, with a polypropylene impeller. A handle is moulded in for portability, so the pump can be carried to the job and set down where it is needed, and a priming screw and drain plug are provided for filling and emptying the casing. The motor is a close coupled TEFC type with built in thermal overload protection, connected to the mains through a fuse or MCB, and Dayliff recommends additional protection where voltage fluctuation is a risk.
It suits small scale irrigation, water boosting and general transfer around houses, gardens and small premises.
