Dayliff DDJ 1100 Centrifugal Jet Water Pump 1.1kW

An integral ejector unit is what gives the Dayliff DDJ 1100 its priming ability, and it is the reason this pump is specified where the water sits well below the pump. It is a centrifugal jet type pump for small scale domestic and commercial water supply, and the larger of the two models in the DDJ range.

The pump body is cast iron, with the ejector and impeller made from engineering plastic. Close coupling to a TEFC electric motor rated for continuous duty keeps the assembly compact, and a thermal cutout protects the motor against electrical overload. Connection is direct to the mains through a fuse or MCB. Pumped liquid should be thin, clean and chemically non aggressive, without solid particles or fibres.

It is used for drawing from shallow wells and sumps, boosting supply in houses and small commercial buildings, and transferring water into storage where the suction lift defeats an ordinary centrifugal pump.
