About this product
Peripheral pumps develop useful pressure from a small motor, and the Dayliff DDP 60E is the Econo build in that family, supplied in the familiar yellow colour. It is meant for small scale domestic and commercial water supply, where a modest flow at reasonable pressure is what the installation actually needs.
The pump body is cast iron with a brass impeller, and the specification includes copper windings and stainless steel housing inserts that keep the impeller turning freely. Close coupling to a TEFC electric motor designed for continuous operation keeps the unit compact, and a thermal cutout protects against electrical overload. The pump handles thin, clean, chemically non aggressive liquids without solid particles or fibres, so it should be kept off silty water.
It is used for boosting taps and showers, filling roof tanks from ground storage, and general small scale supply in houses, flats and shops.
