Dayliff DDW 400S Submersible Drainage Pump 0.4kW

Compact and easy to carry, the Dayliff DDW 400S is the smallest pump in the DDW submersible drainage range. Its open impeller handles clean to lightly turbid water, which makes it a sensible choice for emptying tanks, clearing rainwater from basements and light wells, running a garden fountain or moving water between storage points.

Pump casing, suction base and impeller are made from high strength engineering plastic, giving corrosion resistance and low weight. The external float switch starts and stops the pump automatically with the water level, so it can be left in a sump unattended, and the union connected outlet accepts a threaded fitting or a hose. Ten metres of waterproof power cable are supplied with each pump. The integral non-overloading induction motor is designed for continuous operation and carries a thermal cut-out in the winding; it wires directly to a single phase supply through a 10A fuse or MCB.

Typical duties include domestic drainage, pond and fountain circulation, small scale irrigation, pool emptying and general water transfer around homes, nurseries and small workshops.
