Construction follows the DG-P pattern: an economical air cooled OHV petrol engine with a large exhaust and air cleaner for low noise operation, driving a high efficiency square core alternator that holds a consistent AC output. The set is mounted in a strong tubular frame, over current protection is fuseless, and an integrated control panel gathers the operating controls for convenience. An oil alert system stops the engine if the oil level falls, and a high capacity fuel tank allows extended operation between refills.
