Dayliff DQ 15F Circulator Pump with Flow Switch 120W

Weak shower pressure and slow hot water delivery are the problems the Dayliff DQ 15F is bought to solve. It is a single speed circulator pump with a built-in flow switch, so the pump starts whenever there is demand at the outlet and stops when the tap closes, without a separate pressure switch or controller. Alongside shower boosting it is used for hot water circulation in heating, hot water, cooling and air conditioning systems, whether open or closed, and for circulation in solar hot water installations.

The pump housing is cast iron, the impeller is glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, and the rotor is stainless steel running in a ceramic bearing support, a combination chosen for long service in hot water. Female threaded BSP union connections are supplied, which makes fitting into existing pipework straightforward. The integral asynchronous squirrel cage motor includes a capacitor and overload protection and connects directly to the mains through a 5A fuse or MCB. Pumps must be installed with the rotor shaft horizontal.
