Dayliff DSD 3/13 Submersible Borehole Pump with 30m Cable

Sold ready to install with 30m of cable and its control box, the Dayliff DSD 3/13 is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump from the DSD range, designed for domestic and small scale water supply from wells and boreholes. Buying the pump, cable and control box as one package removes the guesswork of matching a starter and saves a separate trip for cable.

The DSD build uses polycarbonate impellers and diffusers, cast iron delivery and suction chambers, and stainless steel pump housing, shaft and shaft coupling. That combination, and the polycarbonate impellers in particular, gives the range good sand handling, which matters in boreholes that never run completely clear. The pump is coupled to a sealed, liquid cooled asynchronous squirrel cage motor in stainless steel. Single phase sets are run through a Dayliff SCM control box, which protects against overload, dry running and over or under voltage; where a three phase supply is used a remote DOL starter is required, and a Dayliff SCT electronic pump controller is recommended for fuller protection.

Households, guest houses, clinics, schools and smallholdings are the typical installations.
