About this product
Supplied as a complete single phase set with its capacitor winding motor and control box, the Dayliff DSP 1-10 is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump designed for domestic and small scale water supply from wells and boreholes. The DSP 1 series is the low flow end of the range, matched to household demand and to boreholes with a modest yield.
Materials of construction are Noryl impellers, glass filled polycarbonate diffusers, and stainless steel inlet and outlet chambers, stage casings, shaft and pump housing. The impellers are of the floating type, a design that helps the pump handle sand and hold its performance over a long service life. Beneath the pump is a sealed two pole motor built principally from stainless steel.
The control box supplied with it incorporates an isolator, a run indicator light, thermal overload protection and the starting capacitor, and connects directly to mains power. It also carries auxiliary terminals for control probes, a pressure switch or a float switch, so low level protection or automatic tank filling can be added without extra panels.
Homes, guest houses, clinics and smallholdings are its usual installations.
