About this product
Additional stages give the Dayliff DSP 1-15 more head than the shortest pump in the DSP 1 series, which makes it the choice where the water level sits deeper or the delivery pipe runs uphill to a tank. It is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump for domestic and small scale supply from wells and boreholes, and it comes with its capacitor winding motor and a control box.
Build quality rests on Noryl impellers, glass filled polycarbonate diffusers, and stainless steel inlet and outlet chambers, stage casings, shaft and pump housing. The floating impeller design gives efficient performance together with sand handling and long life, useful in boreholes that never run entirely clear. A sealed two pole motor, constructed principally from stainless steel, is coupled below the pump.
Within the control box are an isolator, a run indicator light, thermal overload protection and the starting capacitor, all wired for direct connection to mains power, plus auxiliary terminals for control probes, a pressure switch or a float switch.
Households, farms, schools and small commercial premises drawing from a borehole are typical users.
