About this product
Borehole supply is the specific purpose of the Dayliff DSP 3 series, and the DSP 3-11 is its shortest set, offered here complete with capacitor winding motor and control unit. Compared with the DSP 1 series it moves a greater flow at a given head, which suits properties filling storage tanks or serving several outlets at once.
The pump uses Noryl impellers and glass filled polycarbonate diffusers, with stainless steel inlet and outlet chambers, stage casings, shaft and pump housing. Floating type impellers give efficient performance, sand handling and long service, the qualities that matter most in a pump that will stay down the hole for years. A sealed two pole motor made principally from stainless steel drives it.
Single phase versions are supplied with a control unit holding an isolator, run indicator light, thermal overload protection and starting capacitor, with auxiliary terminals for control probes, a pressure switch or a float switch. Three phase versions instead require a remote DOL starter, and a Dayliff electronic pump controller is recommended for wireless low level protection, motor overload and voltage fluctuation.
Farms, schools, institutions and larger homes are typical installations.
