Dayliff DSP 5-12 Submersible Borehole Pump with Control Box

Higher flow duties are where the Dayliff DSP 5 series belongs, and the DSP 5-12 is supplied here as a set with its capacitor winding motor and control unit. It is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump designed for borehole supply, appropriate where a property, farm or institution needs to fill storage quickly rather than trickle into a tank all day.

Construction combines Noryl impellers, glass filled polycarbonate diffusers, and stainless steel inlet and outlet chambers, stage casings, shaft and pump housing. Floating type impellers give the range its efficiency, its tolerance of sand and its long working life. The pump is coupled to a sealed two pole motor constructed principally from stainless steel.

For single phase supply the control unit provides an isolator, run indicator light, thermal overload protection and starting capacitor and connects directly to mains power, with auxiliary terminals for control probes, a pressure switch or a float switch. Three phase supply requires a remote DOL starter; a Dayliff electronic pump controller is recommended for low level protection, motor overload and voltage fluctuation.
