About this product
Largest flow class in the DSP family, the 8 series is specified when a borehole has to deliver volume, and the Dayliff DSP 8-08 is its shortest set, supplied with capacitor winding motor and control unit. It is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump for borehole supply, aimed at irrigation schemes, larger farms, institutions and community points where a small pump would simply take too long to fill the tanks.
The pump is made up of Noryl impellers, glass filled polycarbonate diffusers, and stainless steel inlet and outlet chambers, stage casings, shaft and pump housing, with floating type impellers for efficient performance, sand handling and long life. A sealed two pole motor, principally stainless steel, is coupled below it.
Single phase sets use a control unit with isolator, run indicator light, thermal overload protection and starting capacitor, along with auxiliary terminals for control probes, a pressure switch or a float switch. Three phase sets need a remote DOL starter, and Dayliff recommends an electronic pump controller for wireless low level protection, motor overload and voltage fluctuation cover.
Farms, estates, schools and water projects are its natural home.
