EMTOP 142-Piece Combination Socket Tool Set EHTS01421

Mechanics and plant fitters judge a socket set by how rarely they have to walk back to the workshop, and a 142-piece kit spanning three drive sizes covers most of what a vehicle, generator or pump presents. The 1/2 inch drive handles suspension, wheel and engine mounting work, the 3/8 inch drive suits general assembly, and the 1/4 inch drive reaches the small fasteners on trim, brackets and electrical fittings.

On the 1/2 inch side there are nineteen hexagonal sockets from 8 to 32mm, five star sockets from E10 to E20, a 375mm flex handle, a 45-tooth ratchet, extension bars at 75 and 250mm, a universal joint, a three-way adaptor to 3/8 inch, two spark plug sockets and a 10 inch L handle. The 3/8 inch drive adds fifteen 12-point sockets from 6 to 22mm, its own 45-tooth ratchet, two extension bars and a universal joint, while the 1/4 inch drive brings a long run of 25mm screwdriver bits.

Everything is laid out in a BMC case so a missing socket is obvious before you leave.
