At the top of the EMTOP 4 inch borehole range sits this 1500W pump, two horsepower, with a maximum head of 135 metres. It is the choice when the water table is low, the tank stand is high, or the delivery line runs a long way uphill from the wellhead.

Seventeen impeller stages build the column pressure required for that lift, with maximum flow held at 6.0 cubic metres per hour through a 1-1/4 inch discharge. The motor uses copper windings and the pump body is stainless steel for continuous submerged duty, and 20 metres of cable are supplied on the unit. The control box is ordered separately and should be matched to this model.

It is aimed at deep boreholes, farms and irrigation schemes, lodges and institutions, water vending points and multi-tenant developments. As with any borehole pump, install it above the pump intake level recommended for the bore and protect it against dry running.
