One horsepower is the size most commonly specified for a family borehole feeding an elevated tank, and this EMTOP 4 inch deep well pump sits exactly there. Rated 750W, it lifts to a maximum head of 82 metres, enough for a deeper bore or a tank stand well above the wellhead.

Ten impeller stages generate that pressure while maintaining a maximum flow of 6.0 cubic metres per hour through a 1-1/4 inch discharge. Construction follows the rest of the range: a copper wire motor, a stainless steel pump body sized for a 4 inch bore, and 20 metres of cable already fitted so the installer has slack to work with at the head. A control box is required and is not included.

It is suited to residential boreholes, rental and apartment blocks, farms running drip or sprinkler lines, schools, clinics and small commercial premises. Confirm the bore yield and dynamic water level so the pump is not run dry.
