Paired sizes are 6x7mm, 8x9mm, 10x11mm, 12x13mm, 14x15mm, 16x17mm, 18x19mm and 20x22mm, taking the set from small panel and instrument fasteners right up to 22mm work on suspension and structural bolts. Open jaws slide onto a nut from the side, which is often the only approach available on brake lines, fuel unions and fasteners on a shaft where a ring or socket cannot be dropped over the top. All eight pieces are fine polished so oil wipes off and the stamped sizes stay readable.

Use them for vehicle and motorcycle repair, pump and generator servicing, agricultural and industrial machinery, pipework and fittings, and assembly work on site. Because the jaws are open rather than closed, take care to seat the spanner fully on the flats before pulling, as a partly engaged jaw is what rounds a soft nut.
