Between the 2200W and the largest machines in the range sits this 2400W grinder, aimed at crews who cut all day rather than occasionally. The extra input power shows itself in how little the 230mm disc slows when it is buried in concrete or thick plate, and the 6400rpm no-load speed reflects the gearing chosen for that pulling ability.

Supply is 220-240V, and the spindle is the standard M14 thread, so existing discs and wire cups transfer straight across. An auxiliary handle is provided for two-handed control, mounting on either side to suit the operator and the cut. As with the rest of the large-body grinders, a spare set of carbon brushes is packed with the tool, covering the wear part that decides how long a hard-used grinder stays in service. Cutting and grinding discs are supplied separately.

Typical work includes cutting reinforced concrete, dressing structural steel, opening service routes through blockwork and preparing surfaces before screeding or rendering.
