About this product
Angle square with a 300mm stainless steel blade, used by carpenters, steel fixers and joiners to mark square lines, check internal and external corners and set out work before cutting. The full 12 in length reaches across a standard board in one pass.
Its blade is stainless steel at 40mm wide and 1.5mm thick, stiff enough to stay true when it is pressed against timber and thin enough to sit flat under a pencil. A unique support ledge registers against the edge of the workpiece so the tool locates itself, and a marking point for a pencil helps repeat a dimension along a length.
The high-impact polymer handle takes the knocks that a tool spends its life receiving in a bag or on a bench. Use it for marking cut lines, checking assemblies for square, transferring angles and squaring up frames during installation. Register the ledge firmly against the edge before marking, and check the square against a known straight edge from time to time, as any square that has been dropped can lose its accuracy.
