About this product
Kept in the boot, a 12V compressor turns a soft tyre from a roadside problem into a five minute job. This model runs off the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and suits private motorists, taxi and matatu operators, boda riders and anyone covering rough roads where slow punctures are routine.
Maximum pressure is 160PSI, equivalent to 11 bar or 1100Kpa, and airflow is 35 litres per minute, so a car tyre comes back up to pressure without a long wait. A built-in LED light makes a night-time roadside stop workable, and the 3 metre lead reaches all four wheels from the dashboard socket on most saloons.
Three adaptors are supplied alongside the standard tyre valve fitting: a ball needle, a tyre valve adaptor and an air bed adaptor, which between them cover footballs, inflatable mattresses and pool toys as well as vehicle tyres.
