EMTOP Axe 600g and 1250g Forged Fibreglass Handle

An axe is judged by its head weight, and this EMTOP range is offered in 600g and 1250g so the tool can be matched to the wood being cut. The lighter head suits kindling, branches and camp work where control matters more than force; the heavier one carries momentum into split logs, fence posts and site timber.

Both heads are drop-forged from 45# carbon steel and heat treated, a process that hardens the cutting edge while leaving the body tough enough to take repeated impact without chipping. Handles use a fibreglass core in a shaped design, which absorbs more shock than solid timber and does not dry out, swell or work loose in the eye as a wooden handle can over a season.

Use them for splitting and sizing firewood, clearing branches and scrub, driving and trimming fence posts, breaking down timber offcuts on site, and general farm, camp and homestead work.
