Sharpening chisels, dressing drill bits and cleaning up welds are daily jobs in a workshop, and a bench grinder is the tool that does them. This 150mm model runs a 150W motor at 2950rpm and is sized for jua kali workshops, school workshops, farms and home benches.

The base is heavy duty aluminium, which is what keeps the machine steady when a tool is pushed against the wheel; a light grinder that walks across the bench is difficult to work accurately with. Work rests on both wheels are adjustable, so the angle can be set for the tool being ground and reset as the wheel wears down. A set of eye shields is fitted over the wheels, and a tool storage box is included for accessories.

Running on 220-240V single phase, it plugs into an ordinary socket and is normally bolted down to a bench or stand before use.
