EMTOP Bolt Cutter 18, 24 and 30 Inch Cr-Mo Blades

Cutting hardened rod, chain and reinforcement by hand comes down to blade material and handle length. This EMTOP range is supplied in 18 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch sizes, so builders, fencing contractors, scrap dealers and maintenance teams can pick the leverage the material demands.

Blades are chrome molybdenum steel, a grade chosen for hard cutting edges that resist rolling on tough stock, finished in black and polished. Capacity rises with length: the 18 inch cutter takes material up to 8mm, the 24 inch up to 10mm and the 30 inch up to 13mm, which covers most reinforcement bar, padlock shackles, chain and fencing wire found on site. Handles are fitted with TPR three-colour grips that stay secure in the hand when the cut needs both arms behind it.

Typical work includes cutting rebar and binding wire on construction sites, trimming chain-link and barbed wire fencing, removing padlocks and shackles during maintenance, and reducing scrap metal for handling.
