Brad nails hold trim, beading and light joinery together without splitting the timber or bruising the face of the work. This EMTOP pack is made up of 40mm brads, a length that suits skirting, architrave, door stops, glazing beads, picture frames and thin panel work where a longer fastener would punch straight through.

The slim gauge and small head are the point of a brad. The nail sinks below the surface, leaves a hole small enough to vanish under filler and paint, and holds the piece steady while the adhesive cures. Loaded into a brad nailer, a strip lets a fitter place fastener after fastener one-handed while the other hand keeps the moulding true.
