About this product
Straight cuts in board and timber are what a circular saw is for, and the difference between a light one and a strong one shows in thick stock. This EMTOP saw is built around a 2200W motor, giving it the reserve to keep the blade turning through deep rips and damp softwood instead of bogging down halfway along the line.
The tool is guided along a marked line or against a straight edge, with the shoe resting flat on the workpiece and the depth set so the blade clears the underside by a small margin. Working that way keeps the cut square and the offcut supported.
Carpenters, formwork crews, roofers and joinery shops use it for ripping and cross-cutting timber, sizing plywood, MDF and chipboard, and trimming shuttering to length on site.
