Second-fix joinery moves at a different pace without a compressor and hose. This 20V brad nailer fires F-series brads from 15mm to 50mm at up to 2.5 nails per second, so architrave, skirting, beading and panel work is fixed as fast as it can be held in place.

The magazine holds 100 brads, and ramp-up time is 80 milliseconds, meaning the tool is ready almost as soon as it is picked up rather than after a long spin-up. Two 4.0Ah battery packs are supplied along with a charger running from 220-240V, giving a working pack and a spare through a full day of fixing. Everything is packed in a plastic case, which matters for a tool carried between houses and stored between contracts.

Joiners, shopfitters, furniture makers and cabinet installers use it for trim, back panels, drawer bottoms, glazing beads and light framing. For anyone currently borrowing a compressor for occasional nailing, a cordless nailer removes the setup entirely.
