Cutting timber where there is no power, on a roof, in a compound or halfway up a scaffold, is where a cordless saw pays for itself. This 20V machine turns a 165mm blade at 4600rpm and cuts 55mm at 90 degrees, taking framing timber, board and battens in a single pass.

Bevel cuts to 45 degrees are possible with a capacity of 38mm, and both the depth of cut and the bevel angle are adjustable on the shoe, so the saw sets up the same way a corded model does. A 165mm blade is included so the tool can start work immediately. Battery and charger are sold separately, which keeps the price down for anyone already holding 20V packs from other tools in the range.
