Not every job needs a heavy drill. For assembly work, fitting locks and hinges, mounting brackets and general repairs, a 12V driver that can be used one-handed above shoulder height is the more comfortable tool, and it fits in a pouch rather than a case.

Maximum torque is 20Nm through a 0.8 to 10mm keyless chuck, with a single speed range of 0 to 750rpm controlled on the trigger. Fifteen clutch positions plus a drill setting stop screws at a consistent depth in soft material, which is what keeps chipboard and plasterboard intact. An integrated work light shows the screw head in a cabinet or a ceiling void. A 1.5Ah battery pack, a charger and two 65mm chrome vanadium bits are supplied, so the drill works out of the box.
