Adding a mechanical two-speed gearbox to a 12V drill widens what it will do: low gear at 0-400rpm delivers the 45Nm needed to drive long screws and coach bolts, while high gear at 0-1500rpm drills cleanly in timber and thin steel. That is a genuine step up from a single-speed driver of the same voltage.

The chuck takes bits from 0.8 to 10mm, and fifteen clutch settings plus a drill position give repeatable screw depth across different materials. An integrated work light picks out the fixing point under a sink or inside a cupboard. Two 1.5Ah packs and a charger are supplied, so one battery charges while the other works, and the kit is packed in a plastic case that keeps the drill, spare pack and charger together.
