Hedges and shrubs need trimming often enough that the tool should be easy to pick up, and a cordless machine removes both the extension lead and the fuel can. This 20V trimmer runs a 460mm laser cut blade at 2800 strokes per minute and will cut stems up to 18mm thick.

Laser cut blades hold a sharper, more consistent edge than stamped blades, which shows in a cleaner cut on the plant and less snagging in dense growth. The 460mm bar reaches across the top of a hedge from one position, and the balance of a battery machine makes overhead work manageable. A pair of PU coated gloves is supplied along with the 2.0Ah battery and charger, so the trimmer arrives ready to work with basic hand protection included.

Compounds, schools, churches, guesthouses, estates and grounds contractors all keep hedges and boundary planting in check with a trimmer this size, and the shared 20V battery makes it easy to add alongside the grass trimmer or blower.
