Hammer action turns a compact drill into a tool that will put a hole in block and brick, and this 12V machine does it while staying light enough for overhead and one-handed work. Maximum torque is 45Nm, and the impact rate reaches 22500 blows per minute.

Speed is selected on a mechanical two-speed gearbox: 0-400rpm for driving fixings and 0-1500rpm for drilling. The clutch offers eighteen torque settings plus separate drill and hammer positions, so the same tool goes from setting screws in chipboard to drilling a wall plug without a compromise setting in between. The chuck takes bits from 0.8 to 10mm and an integrated work light shows the target. Two 1.5Ah packs, a charger and 50 accessories are included in a plastic case.
