EMTOP Cordless Jig Saw 20V 80mm Wood ELGS208501

The ELGS208501 is a 20V cordless jig saw for tradesmen who need to cut curves, notches and openings away from a power point. Joiners, shopfitters and kitchen installers will get the most from it, though it is equally at home with a serious DIY user working through boards in the garage.

A no-load speed of 2400rpm gives the blade enough stroke rate to move through softwood and board without labouring, and the tool will take 80mm in wood or 8mm in metal at full capacity. Five saw blades come in the box, so timber and sheet material can both be tackled from the first job. The saw runs on EMTOP's 20V platform, with the battery and charger bought separately, which keeps the outlay down for anyone who already owns 20V kit.

Typical work includes cutting sink and hob apertures in worktops, trimming door linings, shaping shelving and skirting, notching studwork and making service openings in ceiling board. Because there is no lead, it is useful on roofs, in ducts and on sites where the supply has not yet been connected.
