EMTOP Deep Well Pump Control Box for EWPPD03701 EWSBD03701

A submersible borehole pump is supplied without its control box, and the box is not optional: it starts the motor, carries the run capacitor and protects the winding. This EMTOP control box is the matching unit for the EWPPD03701 deep well pump.

It runs on a 220-240V, 50Hz supply and includes over-current protection, which trips the circuit if the motor begins drawing more than it should because of a locked rotor, a failing capacitor or a supply fault. That protection is what stands between a stalled pump and a burnt winding fifty metres down a bore, where any repair means pulling the whole column of pipe.

Mount it in the pump house or a sheltered position at the wellhead, wired between the supply and the pump cable. It is the correct replacement where an existing box has been damaged by lightning or a supply surge, and the item to add to the order when a new EWPPD03701 is installed.
