About this product
The largest pump in the EMTOP borehole range takes this control box. Built for the EWPPD15001, it sits at the surface and does the work the submerged motor cannot do for itself: starting the pump and watching what it draws.
It runs from a 220-240V, 50Hz supply and trips on over-current, protecting the winding against a locked rotor, a failed capacitor or a supply problem. On a two horsepower installation the pump is often set deep, so anything that avoids pulling the rising main pays for itself the first time it acts.
Wire it between the incoming supply and the pump cable in a dry, sheltered enclosure at the wellhead, with correct earthing and cable glands. Fit it as part of a new EWPPD15001 installation or as the direct replacement for a damaged original. Use only with the pump model it is matched to.
