Where a larger-bore machine is more pump than the job needs, this 3 inch diesel unit gives most of the head with a smaller, lighter engine. The EMTOP EDWP8011 has 80mm suction and discharge ports and suits farmers, plumbers, tank contractors and site crews who move water daily away from a mains socket.

A 5.5HP diesel engine of 296cc turns the impeller, started by recoil pull. Output peaks at 1000 litres per minute with a 28m maximum head lift, higher than the larger-bore model, so it pushes water further uphill to a tank or a distant field. Suction head reaches 7m, and the 12.5L tank supports a full shift of pumping between fills.

Put it to work on drip and furrow irrigation, filling elevated storage tanks, emptying ponds and septic sumps, washing down plant and yards, and clearing standing water from foundations and basements after heavy rain. Because the engine runs on diesel rather than petrol, fuel is easier to store on a farm alongside a tractor supply and the pump is cheaper to keep working through a long dry season.
