Moving large volumes of water where there is no mains electricity is the job this pump was built for. The EMTOP EDWP10011 is a 4 inch diesel transfer pump with 100mm suction and discharge ports, aimed at farmers, irrigation contractors, borehole crews and site teams clearing flooded excavations.

Drive comes from an 8.3HP diesel engine of 418cc with recoil starting, chosen for long working days and the lower running cost of diesel over petrol. Flow reaches 1420 litres per minute, the pump lifts to a 25m head and draws from as deep as 7m, so it copes with a river bank, a dam or a sump well below the machine. A 12.5L fuel tank keeps refuelling stops down during a long transfer.

Common applications include irrigating smallholdings and greenhouses, filling and emptying storage tanks, dewatering foundations and trenches after rain, and general water transfer around farms, quarries and construction sites.
