EMTOP Digital AC Clamp Meter 200A 2000 Counts EDMR22001

Digital clamp meter for electricians and maintenance technicians who need to read current without breaking into a circuit. The jaw closes around a single conductor and reports the AC current flowing through it, which makes load checks on lighting circuits, sockets and small motors a quick job.

Resolution is 2000 counts across AC current ranges of 2A, 20A and 200A, with AC and DC voltage measured from 0.1 V up to 600 V and resistance up to 20 megohms. A data hold function freezes the reading, which matters when the meter is used at arm's length inside a board and the display cannot be seen while the jaw is in place.

Two LR03 AAA batteries are supplied. Suited to domestic and light commercial fault finding, balancing loads across phases and confirming that a circuit is drawing what it should. Clamp one conductor at a time: enclosing line and neutral together cancels the field the meter reads and returns a figure close to zero.
