EMTOP Electric Router 1600W 60mm Plunge EERR1601

Edge profiles, housings and templated work all need a router with enough motor to hold speed in a cut. The EERR1601 offers 1600W for joinery shops, kitchen fitters and furniture makers producing repeat work from a jig.

The spindle runs at 22000rpm, which is where a clean finish comes from in hardwood and man-made board, and the plunge travels from 0 to 60mm for deep housings and through cuts in stages. Collets cover 6, 8 and 12mm along with 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch, so imperial and metric cutters can both be used and the larger shanks stay steady in heavy profiling. A coping ring, an aluminium guide fence, a set of parallel guides and a set of spare carbon brushes are included.

Put it to rebating and grooving, cutting worktop joints and hinge recesses from a template, moulding edges on shelves and doors, trimming laminate and veneer, and forming slots for biscuits, tracks and hardware.
