EMTOP Electrode Holder 500A Netherlands Type EEHR5001

A welding lead is only as good as the holder on the end of it. This EMTOP electrode holder is the Netherlands pattern, the fully insulated screw-shell design that grips the rod firmly and lets the welder change electrodes quickly without exposing live metal to the hand.

It carries a 500A rating, which places it comfortably above the output of most workshop and site stick sets, and it is intended for MMA welding machines below 500A. The Netherlands type body shrouds the electrode stub and the jaw, so the holder can be set down between runs with less risk of arcing against the workpiece or the bench.

It suits fabrication shops, steel window and gate makers, structural steel crews, plant maintenance teams and welding equipment hire. Keep one as a spare in the toolbox, since holders are usually the first part of a welding set to wear out under daily use.
