EMTOP Infrared Thermometer -30°C to 550°C ENTR15501

Temperature tells you what a circuit or a bearing is about to do, and this infrared thermometer collects that reading without shutting anything down. Aim the laser at the target, pull the trigger and the colour display shows the surface temperature immediately.

The measuring span of -30°C to 550°C takes in cold rooms at one end and flue pipes, kilns and overheating terminations at the other. A 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio means the unit still reads a small target from a safe standing position, which matters when the object in question is an energised busbar or a rotating shaft. An upper and lower limit alarm turns the display red once a reading passes the threshold you set, so a run of checks can be swept quickly rather than read one by one. Backlight, auto power off and two AAA cells complete the package.

Electricians use it on distribution boards and motor casings, refrigeration and HVAC technicians on evaporators and ducts, mechanics on brakes and exhausts, and food and hospitality operations on cold storage and hot holding.
