High-leverage diagonal cutting pliers sized at 6 in (160mm), built for electricians and panel builders who cut conductors, cable ties and small wire all day. The high-leverage geometry moves the pivot closer to the cutting edges so less hand effort is needed for each cut.

Handles are insulated and stand a high pressure of 1000 V, keeping a barrier between the hand and the work when circuits cannot be proven dead. The head is finished in black and polished, and the tapered nose lets the edges reach into a crowded consumer unit or junction box without disturbing neighbouring cores.

Typical use covers cutting conductors to length, trimming cable ties flush, cropping small nails and cleaning up terminations. It sits well in an installation pouch alongside combination pliers and insulated screwdrivers. As with any insulated hand tool, look over the sleeves before work begins and retire the pliers once the covering has been cut, burnt or worn back to the metal.
