About this product
An insulated screwdriver is a basic item of an electrician's kit. The blade is covered along its length so only the working tip is exposed, which reduces the chance of bridging two terminals or touching an adjacent part while turning a screw.
It is used for wiring accessories, terminating conductors, adjusting devices inside enclosures and general maintenance on control equipment. Prove the circuit dead before working on it, and keep the driver clean and dry so the handle does not turn in the hand.
